Knocklofty Reserve

The Knocklofty Reserve is an area of native bushland, only 15 minutes walk from Slow Beam. The 4km loop track around the summit of Knocklofty and includes areas to stop and have a picnic and take in the elevated views of the city. You will also have the opportunity to hike amongst over 400 native plant species, including flowering varieties that bloom throughout the year. If you are lucky, at the right times of day, you will come across local wildlife including wallabies, possums, pademelons, bandicoots, native birds, reptiles and native frogs in the reclaimed wetlands habitat.
